Light featherweight nylon made ensembles dominated the Scottish fashion designer Christopher Kane’s Autumn/Winter 2014 runway presentation on the penultimate day of London Fashion Week (LFW).

Incorporated with his signature precise tailoring, the range featured chain-stitched organza adorned cocktail frocks, tawny mink or delicate guipure lace trimmed little black dresses, slouchy tuxedos, and shimmering strong-shouldered and double-breasted coats.

Other than the apparels, the 31-year-old London-based designer also unveiled his leather goods line, comprising footwear and bags, which will be later made available for sale at the new upcoming Abattoir shoes boutique, Mount Street, London.

Christopher Bailey, the chief creative officer and CEO of the British luxury fashion house Burberry Prorsum, added a dash of bohemia in his latest catwalk creations which included hand-painted thin-belted cotton silk flowing dresses with asymmetrical hems, slouchy trench-coats, shearling jackets and cosy blankets wrapped like ponchos.

In addition to the clothing, the label also introduced some innovative accessories like pointy Edwardian-shaped shoe-boots and artistically painted Bloomsbury bags.

Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos, the designer duo behind the fashion brand Peter Pilotto, presented a line of statement pieces decorated with edgy prints. Replete with patterns of mountain peak landscapes and embroidered prints, the pieces, such as halter and strapless dresses with plunging necklines, high-neck fur detailed jumpers and ribbed textured knits, were based in monochromes, fuschia and orange.
