Organic shapes and patterns were the main driving factors behind Japanese brand Issey Miyake’s latest catwalk creations showcased on the fourth day of ongoing Paris fashion Week (PFW).

Designed by the brand’s creative helm Yoshiyuki Miyamae, the range was decorated with Art Deco like abstract graphic prints in a deep rich colour palette. The collection included tailored jackets and coats, slim pants, steam stretched jacquard dresses and oversized blanket wraps.

French fashion house Christian Dior’s new creative director Raf Simons mixed hints of delicate femininity into his otherwise strongly menswear style Autumn/Winter 2014-15 pieces. Enhanced with signature feminine detailing like corset lace and flirty silk, the line showcased flared hip bar jackets, pinstripe flannel tailored coats, slipdresses and sheer embroidered T-shirts.

The Peruvian tribe Ashaninka and works of British couturier Charles Worth played as muses for the prolific English fashion designer Vivienne Westwood’s new ready-to-wear runway parade, presented on the fifth day of PFW. The collection included bead-adorned dresses paired with feathered straw hats, tartan blanket coats and beautiful taffeta evening dresses.

Fashion industry’s enfant terrible Jean-Paul-Gaultier showcased his line at an unusual spacecraft like set up. Titled as Rosbifs in Space, the sportswear range featured silver space suits, Scottish plaid numbers and some Union Jack flag printed ensembles.
