206 exhibitors to partake at Intertextile Guangzhou

This week sees the return of Intertextile Guangzhou Hometextile China from 18 to 22 March, extended by one day this year to meet increasing demand from buyers. 206 exhibitors from five countries and regions will take part at the fair held in halls 14.1 and 15.1 of the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou.

Visitors can also benefit from three other fairs taking place concurrently: the China International Outdoor & Leisure Fair, Homedecor & Housewares China and the China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou).

This edition of Intertextile Guangzhou features Chinese regional pavilions from Haining, Jiaxing, Nantong, Shaoxing and Yuhang, as well as international exhibitors from Australia, Germany, Indonesia and Taiwan. Some of the leading suppliers featuring this year include Best Home Tex and B&F Textile from China, M&S Textiles Australia and Terry Palmer from Indonesia.

The fair showcases a full range of home textile products including bedding, towelling, carpets and rugs, upholstery fabrics, wall and window decorations, and more. Buyers last year were full of praise for the selection of items on offer. “A trade show with a wide range of products such as this one is very helpful to my business. I find the quality of this show is getting better every year,” commented Simon Yeung, General Manager Fic Co Ltd, Hong Kong.

Debut of Soft Decorations Pavilion

A Soft Decorations Pavilion will feature for the first time this year, and includes bedding, cushions, carpets and textile lifestyle products in hall 15.1. Well-known domestic brands exhibiting in this pavilion include Goldsun, Link Life Creation, Welltex, Yi County and Yinglunmeijia, as well as carpet suppliers HomeValue and Lanbond. Hall 14.1 meanwhile is dedicated to exhibitors of upholstery fabrics, sofa fabrics and curtains.

In addition to the wide range of home textile products on display, a number of events and seminars will take place at the four concurrent fairs. One such seminar, ‘The Passport for Exporting Textiles’, will introduce the latest developments of the Oeko-Tex STeP and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certifications, as well as introduce the textile quality and function testing services of the Hohenstein Institute.

Intertextile Guangzhou Hometextile China is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd; the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT; the China Home Textile Association (CHTA); and the China Foreign Trade Guangzhou Exhibition Corporation.
