Melodies of Fashion '14, hosted by Fusion Life magazine and supported by Kosmetika , India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) in hall no.12,Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

It was an out-and-out fashion fest for those with a sartorial bent of mind.

From Neelam Ashley's Helen-esque ensembles, Roopa Patil's aesthetic lines to Amin Farishta's Khadi obsession and Sidhartha Agicha's contemporary couture, Fusion Life's runway show was an evening to remember.

The show started by a small eye dripping (Jala neti) performance by anchor Utkarsh. Utkarsh who is also a MTV roadie and he entertained the audience with his wittiness. Then was further taken over by designer Neelam Ashley, from extravagant headgears to gaudy drapes, the NIFT graduate had the crowd in awe of his runway brigade.

In sky-high heels, gold headgears with embellishments, and metallic makeup, each of Neelam’s walkers were showstoppers. The show was then taken Forward by Siddharth Gautam and his band mate Jomy Daniel. They presented a good mix of songs from Bollywood and from their own album as well. The audiences were enthralled by the out of the box performance.

The stage was further replaced by Roopa Patil. The clinical white ramp against the pop of colours, Patil’s girls made for an aesthetic contrast. What set her designs apart was the edgy vibe she added to the new-age bridal couture collection. Having been a true art lover, designing was her first passion and so as a fashion designer she naturally gives figurative styles to the designs, and makes sure they are easy to wear.

Following this was Siddharth Agicha’s colourful fashion show. His collection Sidhartha Agicha’ s fashion show  specialized in western couture. Chiffons in pastels, georgettes and crepes in solids and bright shades and motifs took our heart away. The Fusion Life team along with Mr M S Ahmed Khan, Director,  Orville Media took over the stage and graced the ramp with opulence.

The Finale was showcased by amazing designer Amin Farishta. He played a melodious poetry with his ethnic designs in the indigenous fabric of India - khadi. His one of its kind show was full of patriotic songs and had an eccentric mix of western and Indian clothes. He showcased traditional kurtas, kurtis, tunics and lehngas, long coats etc.

The makeup and hair for the models was done by International Makeup Expert and Executive Director Alps Beauty Clinic Miss Ishika Taneja. The models were arranged by Swagat Ranjan.
