120 exhibitors show at Baltic Fashion & Textile Riga 2014

The biannual event, co-hosted by the organizers of the Lithuanian expo Baltic Textile + Leather ‘BT 1’ and the textile industry associations of Latvia and Lithuania, brings together manufacturers, distributors, designers and fashion and textile professionals from the Baltic States, Scandinavian nations, Russia and the CIS countries under the same roof.

Exhibitors from 13 different countries such as Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Germany, France, Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and India, are showcasing their latest textile and apparel products.

Scheduled to be held till April 6, 2014, the event features business to business matchmaking, conferences, fashion shows as well as an international competition for young fashion designers ‘Habitus Baltija 2014’, to be held on April 5.

Renowned Latvian designers and brands including Katya Katya Shehurina, Anna LED, Natalija Jansone, One Wolf, Red Salt, Alexander Pavlov, Narciss, Nolo, and BeCarousell are also showcasing their latest ready-to-wear collections during the six-day event.

Exhibitors are presenting various products including workwear, innerwear, knitwear, home textiles, fabrics, yarn, sewing supplies, industrial equipment, spare parts and auxiliary materials at the fair.
