Once again the crème-de-la-crème of the Russian fashion industry gathered to showcase their creativity at the just concluded edition of St. Petersburg Fashion Week.

Polina Raudson presented her latest eastern philosophy inspired Fall/Winter 2014 catwalk line Catharsis at the soiree. Accentuated with asymmetrical cuts and folds, the range was adorned with plastic beads, glass and Swarovski crystals. Based in shades of black and magenta, the cashmere, silk and wool made collection included coats, dresses, trousers and skirts.

Fashion label Anna Ovchinnikova displayed her capsule range Barefoot on the pavement. Made using lightweight fabrics, the line featured an array of girly frocks and prom dresses in vibrant hues of orange and sunshine yellow.

Designers Dyakova Tatiana and Anastasia Borovikova, the creative heads behind the label Harley, proposed a very functional and practical collection of feminine outerwear for the next season. Incorporated with strict rectangular shapes, straight silhouettes and patches of leather trims, the line showcased a variety of coats and chunky wraps in gray, indigo and wine colours.

New York-inspired sophisticated womenswear brand Léka chose to showcase a lightweight as well as heavyweight fabrics mixed range, titled Anatomy, decorated with ruffles, feathers and scales, at the fashion do.
