Fall in US benzene trends trip Asian prices today

Benzene prices declined across all Asian markets today from weak buying sentiments and declining prices in the downstream market.
The fall in US benzene prices also facilitated the drop in Asian benzene prices.
In Asia, benzene prices decreased by US$ 10/ton today and were quoted in the range of US$ 1305/ton to USD 1310/ton.
Yesterday, benzene prices in US fell by 11 cents and were offered in the range of 480 cents /gallon to 482 cents/gallon.
Meanwhile, Japan-based JX Nippon Oil & Energy nominated its benzene contract price for September at USD 1390/ton CFR Asia, a roll over from August level.
The fall in US benzene prices also facilitated the drop in Asian benzene prices.
