Bearish market pulls down Asian MEG prices today

In Asian market, MEG prices declined from bearish market sentiments by US$ 5/ton today (Sept 3) and were quoted in the range of US$ 970/ton to US$ 975/ton.
Indian Oil Corporation Ltd has reduced MEG prices by INR 1.10/kg and the revised basic price of MEG is INR 73.50/kg.
Meanwhile, Shell nominated its September MEG contract prices for Asian markets at US$ 1160/ton, up US$ 20/ton from August levels.
Asian MEG prices are expected to remain weak due to sluggish demand and bearish market sentiments. (AR)
