Asian PTA prices decline from weak feedstock trends

Weak feedstock prices coupled with poor demand led to Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) prices falling down in Asian market yesterday.
In F E Asian market, PTA prices fell by US$ 5/ton or 0.51 percent on Sept 3, when compared to Sept 2 and were offered at US$ 970/ton.
In S E Asian market too, prices dipped by US$ 5/ton or 0.50 percent again on Wednesday from Tuesday and were quoted at US$ 995/ton.
In the Chinese market also, PTA prices again declined by US$ 5/ton and were assessed at US$ 970/ton. (AR)
