Asian CPL prices dip last week from bearish trends

Last week, the Asian USD caprolactam (CPL) market continued to present a weak outlook and prices went down due to bearish market sentiments and unfavourable market fundamentals.
Asian CPL trends showed weak consolidation and prices declined from weak downstream demand and thin trading activity.
Mainstream offers for CPL were in the range of US$ 2200/ton to US$ 2210/ton, down US$ 25/ton from the previous week.
Selling offers from CPL suppliers from Mexico and Russia also fell by US$ 20/ton and were assessed in the range of US$ 2220/ton to US$ 2230/ton.
