US ACN trends stable but down in Europe & Asia this week

This week, acrylonitrile (CAN) prices stayed steady in US due to dull downstream demand in the region.
In Europe too, lackluster demand coupled with ample product availability and lower ACN prices in the Asian markets, led to ACN prices slipping this week.
US ACN prices were assessed at US$ 1935/ton this week, same as compared to its previous week.
ACN prices in Europe were quoted at US$ 1950/ton, down US$ 25/ton from its previous week.
In Asia, ACN showed similar trend as Europe and showed a week on week fall of US$ 25/ton.
In this week, prices in S E and F E Asia were offered at US$ 2005/ton and US$ 2010/ton, respectively.
