Chinese nylon filament yarn market shows modest outlook

Nylon filament yarn prices in – the USD as well as the domestic market in China showed modest outlook and prices declined marginally due to moderate demand in the last week ending Oct 2.
In the USD based Chinese market, nylon filament yarn prices went down marginally and prices for FDY 70 Den/12F were offered around US$ 3.56-3.60/kg FOB N E Asia.
Among major varieties, average prices for FDY 70 Den/24 F were around RMB 21,900-22,100/ton by the end of last week in the Chinese domestic market.
Mainstream prices for POY 86 Den/24 F were around RMB 20,800-22,000/ton and DTY 70 Den/24 F semi-dull prices were assessed around RMB 22,900-24,500/ton.
