Asian benzene prices up despite weak upstream energy trend

Benzene prices went up in Asia on Wednesday (8th Oct) despite weak upstream energy prices in the region.
In Korea, prices grew by US$ 5/ton or 0.42 percent and were assessed at US$ 1200/ton on 8th Oct as compared to 7th Oct.
In Japan too, prices rose by US$ 5/ton or 0.42 percent and were quoted at US$ 1205/ton on Wednesday, against Tuesday.
In India, benzene prices also went up by US$ 5/ton or 0.41 percent and were offered at US$ 1210/ton yesterday versus the day before.
In Korea, prices grew by US$ 5/ton or 0.42 percent and were assessed at US$ 1200/ton on 8th Oct as compared to 7th Oct.
In Japan too, prices rose by US$ 5/ton or 0.42 percent and were quoted at US$ 1205/ton on Wednesday, against Tuesday.
In India, benzene prices also went up by US$ 5/ton or 0.41 percent and were offered at US$ 1210/ton yesterday versus the day before.
