Mimaki USA launches JV150 series & CJV150 series printers

Mimaki USA, one of the leading manufacturers of wide-format inkjet printers and cutters, has launched the JV150 series and CJV150 series cut and print devices.
The JV150 series printers based on the JV300 series platform, and the CJV150 cut and print devices series models based on the CJV300 series platform, feature advanced piezo technology print heads, with print speeds of up to 605 square feet per hour. The printers can use either SS21 eco-solvent inks or Sb53 dye-sublimation inks, the company said in a statement.
The JV150 series printers are available in two sizes; 54-inch JV150-130 and 64-inch JV150-160. The CJV150 cut and print devices are available in four sizes; 32-inch CJV150-75, 43-inch CJV150-107, 54-inch CJV150-130, and 64-inch CJV150-160.
The integrated cut functionality in the printers enables short-run or custom production of labels, decals, T-shirt transfers, vehicle markings, package prototypes and more in a single unit.
The CJV150 series advanced cutting functions including continuous registration mark detection to enable cutting of an entire roll of media without interruption. Over-cut and corner-cut functions reduce waste by ensuring clearly cut edges with no uncut fragments.
The segment correction function facilitates precision cutting over long-length prints, even if the image is distorted. Also included is a cut-and-print function for pre-cutting before printing, which prevents common problems such as film separation and other issues, related to post-cutting on thin materials.
The new JV150 series and CJV150 series, built on the advanced architecture of the JV300 Series printers, offer many new technologies designed to deliver consistent, outstanding print quality on a proven platform such as media handling features that provide more accurate printing with less damage to the media. The patented media heat system ensures uniform ink drying and produces consistent image quality across the entire width of the media
