The young fashion designer Masaba Gupta showcased her first-ever collection in collaboration with the Indian conglomerate ITC Limited-owned personal care brand Fiama Di Wills at the just held 24th edition of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2014 show.

Adorned with embellishments inspired by Fiama Di Wills Shower Jewels, the glamorous uber chic range was replete with the designer’s signature bold motifs based on a hot and cold colour palette with occasional splashes of molten gold.

Incorporated with a balanced amalgamation of fluid silhouettes, Straight cuts and gemstone-designed zodiac signs, the young, sensual and exquisitely feminine line was enhanced with prints of Patakha (symbolizing the feistiness of Leo) and delicate florals (displaying the laid back yet serious attitude of Capricorn).

While describing the range, the young design talent states, “A raw, aflame ‘Patakha’ is the muse for this signature collection. Inspired by Fiama Di Wills Shower Jewels, the collection for the first time uses embellishments. The silhouettes, as always, are very signature House of Masaba, which are fluid, laid back and fuss free, but beautiful and sensuous in their own way. The fashion collection is an interesting interpretation of Fiama Di Wills Shower Jewels.”

The Chief Executive, Personal Care Products Business, ITC Limited, Mr. Sandeep Kaul, also said in a statement, “We believe elegance and grace is intrinsic to fashion. The interpretation of Fiama Di Wills Shower Jewels by Masaba is indeed a true blend of elegance and serenity with a fashion statement that is signature Masaba. It is young, exquisitely feminine and embodies the spirit of timeless youthfulness, the brand philosophy of Fiama Di Wills.”

Before partnering with Masaba Gupta, Fiama Di Wills has earlier collaborated with some of the country’s finest design names including Suneet Verma, Wendell Rodricks, Pankaj and Nidhi, Rahul Mishra, Ranna Gill and Payal Pratap to present exclusive fashion collections based on the brand’s philosophy of youthfulness and highlight beauty which is intrinsic to fashion.
