Weak demand last week pulls down Asian PTA trends

Weak product demand in the region led to Asian PTA prices slipping last week ending Oct 10.
In F E Asia, average prices went down by US$ 30/ton and were assessed at US$ 860/ton last week, as compared to its previous week, a decrease of 3.37 percent.
In S E Asia too, average prices declined by US$ 30/ton or 3.28 percent from its previous week and were offered at US$ 885/ton last week.
In Indian market, average prices also moved down by US$ 35/ton and were quoted at US$ 890/ton or down 3.78 percent from its previous week.
