Propylene prices declined in parts of Asia yesterday (Oct 13). The price fall was attributed to lower upstream energy prices coupled with dull buying sentiments and decline in downstream product prices in the region.

In China, prices went down to US$ 1320/ton yesterday; a fall of US$ 20/ton from last week’s assessed levels.
On the other hand, prices in Japan and S E Asia stayed stable at US$ 1250/ton and US$ 1245/ton respectively, yesterday.
