Bearish buying this week pulls down Asian propylene prices

During the current week ending Oct 17, propylene prices moved downward in Asian markets from extremely bearish buying trends coupled with softer and poor crude oil and naphtha rates.
Ample of product availability in the region also contributed to propylene prices falling in Asia.
In F E Asian market, selling offers for propylene declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1265/ton to US$ 1270/ton.
S E Asian propylene trends too dropped and were quoted in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1245/ton.
In the Chinese market, propylene prices went down by US$ 20/ton and were offered in the range of US$ 1315/ton to US$ 1320/ton.
Selling offers for propylene in Indian market were assessed at US$ 1245/ton.
Ample of product availability in the region also contributed to propylene prices falling in Asia.
