Asian PTA prices drop sharply last week

Asian PTA prices declined sharply last week ending 17th from weak downstream product prices.
F E Asian average PTA prices dropped by US$ 90/ton or 10.47 percent and were assessed at US$ 770/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week ending 10th Oct.
In S E Asia, average prices too fell markedly by US$ 90/ton and were quoted at US$ 795/ton in the last week against its previous week, a decrease of 10.17 percent.
Indian average PTA trends came down US$ 85/ton or 9.55 percent last week against its previous week and were offered at US$ 805/ton last week.
