Rieter to host informative seminar on yarns at DKTE

Rieter is hosting a one-day textile technology seminar on November 8, 2014 at the DKTE Institute – Ichalkaranji, which will focus on requirements of yarn buyers and yarn sellers.
Rieter says the seminar will provide information on - four key spinning technologies, 4 Com4 spun yarns, important criteria for downstream processing as well as typical end products and helpful tips for the yarn trade.
Subjects to be touched upon include; technological know-how on four spinning technologies; ring spinning, compact spinning, rotor spinning and air-jet spinning including getting acquainted with the Rieter Ring and Air jet spinning machines at DKTE Spinning workshop.
Another subject will be on yarn characteristics of the 4 yarns Com4 ring, Com4 compact, Com4 rotor, Com4 jet, their behaviour in the downstream process, benefits in usage of the fabrics produced from them and typical end products.
Subjects that will also be discussed include influence of package build-up on the downstream process and interpretation of yarn testing results.
Reiter informs that yarn purchasers, yarn sellers, yarn traders, weavers and knitters and all those who would like to improve their knowledge on this topic will benefit from the seminar.
It is inviting applications up till October 30, 2014, for those desirous of attending the seminar, which will be held in the English language. (AR)
