The young and seasoned talents from Canada showcased their newest arrays of exclusive Spring/Summer 2015 trends at the just wrapped up six-day-long bi-annual Canadian sartorial event Toronto Fashion Week.

The 29-year-old London's Central Saint Martins’ grad Mikhael Kale highlighted an exquisitely tailored range created predominantly in a mixed palette of fuchsia, metallic and muted coral tones. Replete with sharp architectural shapes, origami-inspired detailing and sheer panelling, the pieces such as the pencil dresses and party frocks were made using delicate luminous and sheer fabrics.

Designer Brittany Wacher’s namesake label Brit Wacher showed an easy-breezy line of summery ensembles like voluminous high-waisted pants and shorts, oversized crop tops, subdued mint coloured overcoats and midi skirts based in a contrasting monochrome palette.

Milan’s Istituto Marangoni trained Canadian designer Christopher Bates opted to feature a very modern safari-inspired collection whereas the Klaxon Howl label’s owner and designer Matt Robinson highlighted its signature vintage-influenced pieces reminiscent to styles dating back to some 100 years and the early 1900s at the World MasterCard Fashion Week Toronto.

Designer Rachel Sin featured brightly coloured, immaculately tailored day and evening wear pieces and shoulder-baring dresses made exceptionally for the modern independent women while Mackage co-founders Eran Elfassy and Elisa Dahan showed leather crafted outwear ensembles appropriate for a typically cold Canadian spring.

The Canadian-born designer Hayley Elsaesser displayed an intergalactic-inspired line, replete with Saturn and shooting star prints, titled Heavenly Bodies while the Soia and Kyo creative director Ilan Elfassy opted to showcase his casualwear heavy SS15 catwalk creations based on a soothing palette of cream and rust hues.
