Asian PTA prices mount despite weak upstream prices

Despite weak upstream product prices in the region, Asian PTA prices mounted on Wednesday, 29th Oct.
In F E Asia, prices went up by US$ 5/ton or 0.63 percent and were quoted at US$ 795/ton on Wednesday, as compared to Tuesday (28th Oct).
In the S E Asian market, PTA trends also rose by US$ 5/ton and were offered at US$ 820/ton on 29th Oct, up 0.61 percent from 28th Oct.
In India too, prices ascended by US$ 5/ton and were assessed at US$ 830/ton on Wednesday versus Tuesday, a rise of 0.61 percent.
