Asian PTA prices gain from tight availability last week

Tight product availability in the region helped Asian PTA prices gain in the last week ending Oct 31.
In F E Asia, average prices went up by US$ 10/ton or 1.29 percent and were assessed at US$ 785/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week ending Oct 25.
In S E Asia, average prices also rose by US$ 10/ton and were offered at US$ 810/ton in the last week, up 1.25 percent from its previous week.
In the Indian market, average PX prices also ascended by US$ 10/ton and were quoted at US$ 820/ton last week, as compared to previous week, an increase of 1.23 percent.
In China, average prices moved up slower by US$ 5/ton or 0.64 percent from its previous week and were assessed at US$ 790/ton last week.
