VFY prices increase in Chinese domestic market last week

In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Cotton Linter were spotted at RMB 2700/ton in the last week ending October 31, which stayed stable compared to the previous week ending October 24. In the last updates from market, offer prices were in the range of RMB 2800/ton to RMB 3000/ton. Trading prices were between RMB 2700/ton and RMB 2800/ton.

Prices of Dissolving Pulp were assessed at RMB 6025/ton in the last week, which were steady from the previous week. Prices of imported Dissolving Wood Pulp were offered in the range of US$ 810/ton to US$ 815/ton. Prices of Pulp imported from the US and Europe were in the range of US$ 830/ton to US$ 840/ton and US$ 820ton to 840/ton, respectively, while those from Canada were in the range of US$ 750/ton to US$ 770/ton. Prices of Pulp imported from Sweden were between US$ 810/ton and US$ 815/ton.

VSF prices were witnessed at RMB 11940/ton in the last week, which were down from the previous week. During the week, VSF market opened at RMB 12000/ton and closed at RMB 11900/ton. In the Chinese market, offers for imported VSF were in the range of US$ 1.59/kg to US$ 1.63/kg. Market analysts expect VSF prices to remain steady in the ongoing week.

In the last week, VFY market increased and prices were assessed at RMB 34900/ton. VFY market sentiment was optimistic and there was improved demand from downstream market during that period. VFY producers kept offers in the range of RMB 34850/ton to RMB 34900/ton. In the Chinese market, offers for imported VFY declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 5400/ton to US$ 5500/ton.
