Asian PX drops last week from weak demand

Asian PX prices dropped in the last week ending Nov 8, due to weak product demand in the region.

In Korea, average prices fell by US$ 50/ton or 4.83 percent and were assessed at US$ 985/ton last week, as compared to its previous week ending Nov 1.

In the S E Asia market, average PX prices slipped by US$ 45/ton and were offered at US$ 1010/ton, down 4.27 percent from its previous week.
