European & US benzene prices tumble last week

Benzene prices tumbled in Europe & US in the last week ending Nov 8, due to weak upstream product prices in the region.
In Europe, average prices plunged by US$ 60/ton or 5.02 percent and were quoted at US$ 1135/ton last week, as compared to its previous week.
In the US market, average benzene prices fell albeit slower by 2.63 percent or 10 cents/gallon and were assessed at 370 cents/gallon last week from its previous week.
