Mute buying leads to Asian propylene falling last week

Mute buying sentiments coupled with weak upstream product prices in the region led to propylene trends falling in Asia in the last week ending Nov 15.

In Korea, average propylene prices dipped by US$ 25/ton or 2.13 percent and were quoted at US$ 1150/ton last week, as compared to its previous week ending Nov 8.

In Japan too, average prices reduced by US$ 20/ton and were assessed at US$ 1155/ton last week, down 1.70 per cent from its previous week.

In S E Asia, average prices also came down by US$ 20/ton or 1.71 per cent from its previous week and were offered at US$ 1150/ton last week.

In the Indian market, average prices too slipped by US$ 20/ton and were spotted at US$ 1150/ton last week, as against its previous week, a decline of 1.71 per cent.
