Asian benzene rises on Nov 20 from hike in upstream prices

Benzene prices rose in Asia on Thursday (Nov 20) from higher upstream energy prices and increase in upstream and downstream product prices.
Prices in Korea were assessed at US$ 990/ton, higher by US$ 30/ton or 3.13 per cent as compared to the prices on Wednesday (Nov 19).
Benzene prices in Japan were spotted at US$ 995/ton on Nov 20, up US$ 30/ton or 3.11 per cent from Nov 19.
In Indian market, benzene prices were up 3.09 per cent from Wednesday and were quoted at US$ 1000/ton on Thursday.
