Hectic selling leads to fall in European Propylene prices

Prices of propylene fell in European and US markets in the last week ending December 12, 2014, due to hectic selling activity in the region.
In Europe, average propylene prices went down by €40 per ton or 4.23 per cent and were assessed at €905 per ton in the last week, compared to the previous week ending December 5.
In US, average prices of propylene went down by 5 cents per pound or 11.11 per cent to 40 cents per pound in the last week.
