European ethylene & propylene trends slip this week

Ethylene and propylene prices slipped in Europe in the current week ending Dec 26; due to fall in upstream energy prices coupled with week buying sentiments in the region and lower demand for downstream products.
European ethylene average prices were assessed at € 800/ton FD NWE in this week, lower by € 15/ton as compared to the average prices of € 815/ton in the last week ending Dec 20.
Propylene average prices were spotted at € 840/ton FD NWE in the current week, down by € 30/ton as against average prices of € 870/ton in the previous week ending Dec 20.
