Asian benzene rises from hike in upstream prices this week

Benzene prices rose in Asia in this week ending Dec 26, from higher upstream energy prices and gains in upstream product prices in the region.
In Korea, average prices were assessed at US$ 665/ton this week, higher by US$ 20/ton as compared to the average prices of US$ 645/ton in the last week ending Dec 20.
In Japan, average prices were quoted at US$ 670/ton in the current week, up US$ 20/ton vis-à-vis average prices of US$ 650/ton in the last week.
In India, average prices showed similar upswing and were assessed at US$ 675/ton in the current week.
In Korea, average prices were assessed at US$ 665/ton this week, higher by US$ 20/ton as compared to the average prices of US$ 645/ton in the last week ending Dec 20.
In Japan, average prices were quoted at US$ 670/ton in the current week, up US$ 20/ton vis-à-vis average prices of US$ 650/ton in the last week.
In India, average prices showed similar upswing and were assessed at US$ 675/ton in the current week.
