Asian benzene plunges last week from ample availability

Benzene prices plunged in Asia in the last week ending Jan 16, due to ample of product availability in the region.
In Korea, average prices dropped by US$ 35/ton or 5.79 per cent and were quoted at US$ 570/ton last week, as compared to its previous week.
In Japan too, average prices declined by US$ 35/ton and were assessed at US$ 575/ton last week, also down 5.74 per cent as against prices in its previous week.
In India, average prices dipped by US$ 35/ton and were spotted at US$ 580/ton last week from its previous week, a decrease of 5.69 per cent.
