Asian PX up due to higher upstream prices on Feb 2

Asian PX prices rose on Monday (Feb 2) due to higher upstream energy prices and feedstock prices coupled with increased downstream demand in the region.

In Korea, prices were quoted at US$ 755/ton on Monday, higher by 2.72 per cent or US$ 20/ton as compared to prices at end of last week.

In S E Asia too, prices were assessed at US$ 780/ton, up by 4.00 per cent or US$ 30/ton as against prices seen at end of previous week.
