Asian PTA prices slip on Feb 2 from sluggish demand

PTA prices slipped in Asia on Monday (Feb 2) from sluggish downstream demand in the region.
In F E Asia, prices were seen at US$ 570/ton on Monday, lower by US$ 5/ton as compared to prices at the end of the last week.
In S E Asia, prices were assessed at US$ 590/ton on Feb 2, also down by US$ 5/ton as against prices by the end of last week.
In India, prices showed similar trend and were quoted at US$ 570/ton on Monday, lower by 0.87 per cent from end of the previous week.
