Propylene prices up in parts of Asia on Feb 9

Propylene prices went up in parts of Asia on Monday (Feb 9) from higher upstream energy prices in the region coupled with improved downstream demand in the region.
In Korea, prices were assessed at US$ 815/ton on Monday, higher by US$ 10/ton as compared to prices at end of last week.
In China, prices were quoted at US$ 860/ton on Feb 9, also up by US$ 10/ton as against prices by end of last week.
However, prices stayed steady in S E Asia and Japan at US$ 800/ton and US$ 790/ton respectively.
In Korea, prices were assessed at US$ 815/ton on Monday, higher by US$ 10/ton as compared to prices at end of last week.
In China, prices were quoted at US$ 860/ton on Feb 9, also up by US$ 10/ton as against prices by end of last week.
However, prices stayed steady in S E Asia and Japan at US$ 800/ton and US$ 790/ton respectively.
