Propylene prices went up in parts of Asia on Monday (Feb 9) from higher upstream energy prices in the region coupled with improved downstream demand in the region.

In China, prices were quoted at US$ 860/ton on Feb 9, also up by US$ 10/ton as against prices by end of last week.
However, prices stayed steady in S E Asia and Japan at US$ 800/ton and US$ 790/ton respectively.
