Europe & US propylene prices up last week

Propylene prices went up in Europe and US in the last week ending Feb 14 from increase in upstream energy prices coupled with tight product availability and strong downstream demand in the region.
Average prices in Europe were assessed at € 750/ton last week, higher by 2.05 per cent as compared to € 735/ton in its previous week ending Feb 7.
In US, prices were seen in the range of 39.15-41.15 cents/pound last week, as against a range of 39.00-39.65 cents/pound in its previous week.
