Asian benzene prices expand on March 2 & 3

Benzene prices expanded in Asia on both days, Monday (March 2) and Tuesday (March 3) this week, due to higher benzene prices in Europe and US coupled with increase in upstream energy prices.
Upstream product prices and downstream product prices also helped in the price rise.
In Korea, prices were seen at US$ 725/ton on Monday, higher by US$ 25/ton as compared to prices at the end of last week.
Prices went up by US$ 20/ton on Tuesday and were assessed at US$ 745/ton.
In Japan, prices were witnessed at US$ 730/ton on Monday, also higher by US$ 25/ton as against prices at the end of last week.
Prices further moved up by US$ 20/ton on Tuesday and were assessed at US$ 750/ton.
In India, prices were assessed at US$ 735/ton on Monday, up by US$ 25/ton as from prices at end of last week.
In India too, prices ascended again by US$ 20/ton on Tuesday and were quoted at US$ 755/ton.
