In Andhra Pradesh there were reports of rainfall in certain pockets. Good quality Guntur Mcu-5 of 31 mm was priced at Rs. 35,500 spot per candy.
While in Warangal, 29 mm good quality Bunny was assessed at Rs. 34,000 spot per candy and in Adilabad 29 mm Bunny was quoted at Rs. 33,500 spot per candy.
In Karnataka, Raichur good quality 29 mm cotton was sold at Rs 34,500 spot per candy while 30 mm Bunny was priced at Rs. 35,000 spot per candy and 35 mm Dch-32 was quoted at Rs. 49,000 spot per candy.
Good quality 30 mm Rch is sold at Rs. 35,500 spot per candy in Tamil Nadu, while good quality Dch-32 of 35 mm is quoted at Rs. 48,000 spot per candy.
Arrivals of Dch-32 quality have dropped drastically and most of the lots are hardly of 34 mm and arrivals are comparatively less in volume and at the same time mills off-take is only moderate. (AR)
