US & European benzene up from tight availability last week

Benzene prices went up in Europe & US in the last week ended May 1 due to tight product availability.
In Europe, average prices ascended by US$ 5/ton or 0.55 per cent and were quoted at US$ 915/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.
In US, average prices grew by 5 cents/gallon and were assessed at 290 cents/gallon in the last week, up 1.75 per cent as against its previous week.
