Asian PTA prices slip on May 7 from poor demand

PTA prices slipped in Asia on Thursday (May 7) from lower upstream product prices and poor downstream demand in the region.
In FE Asia, prices were assessed at US$ 780/ton on Thursday, lower by US$ 5/ton or 0.6 per cent as compared to prices on Wednesday (May 6).
In SE Asia and India, prices were spotted at US$ 805/ton on May 7, down by US$ 5/ton as against prices on May 6.
