Ethylene prices up in Europe, stay stable in US last week

Ethylene prices went up in Europe in the last week ended May 8 due to gain in upstream product prices in the region.
However, due to correction in feedstock prices, prices stayed stable in the US.
In Europe, average prices rose by US$ 35/ton or 2.87 per cent and were quoted at US$ 1255/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.
In the US market, average prices stayed steady at 35 cents/pound in the last week as against its previous week.
