Sluggish demand drives down Asian MEG prices on May 25

Sluggish downstream demand and drop in prices of upstream energy and other polyester feedstock drove down MEG prices in Asia on Monday (May 25).
In India, prices were witnessed at US$ 935/ton, lower by US$ 20/ton as compared to prices at end of last week.
In China, prices were assessed at US$ 930/ton, down by US$ 20/ton as against prices seen towards end of previous week.
