Asian PTA drops on May 28 from poor demand

PTA prices dropped in Asia on Thursday (May 28) from poor downstream demand and lower upstream product prices coupled with fall in prices of other polyester feedstock.
In FE Asia, prices were assessed at US$ 695/ton on Thursday, lower by US$ 10/ton as compared to prices on Wednesday (May 27).
In SE Asia, prices were witnessed at US$ 710/ton on May 28, down by US$ 10/ton as against prices on May 27.
In India, prices were spotted at US$ 725/ton on Thursday, also lower by US$ 10/ton from prices on Wednesday.
In China, prices were seen at US$ 695/ton on May 28, also down by US$ 10/ton as compared to prices on Wednesday.
In FE Asia, prices were assessed at US$ 695/ton on Thursday, lower by US$ 10/ton as compared to prices on Wednesday (May 27).
In SE Asia, prices were witnessed at US$ 710/ton on May 28, down by US$ 10/ton as against prices on May 27.
In India, prices were spotted at US$ 725/ton on Thursday, also lower by US$ 10/ton from prices on Wednesday.
In China, prices were seen at US$ 695/ton on May 28, also down by US$ 10/ton as compared to prices on Wednesday.
