Benzene prices soar in Europe & US last week

Benzene prices soared in Europe & US in the last week ended June 12 due to gain in upstream and downstream product prices in the region.
In Europe, average prices surged by US$ 60/ton or 7.50 per cent and were quoted at US$ 860/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.
In US, average prices drove up by 15 cents/gallon and were assessed at 265 cents/gallon in the last week, up 6.00 per cent as against its previous week.
