Ethylene price down in Europe but stable in US last week

Ethylene prices went down in Europe in the last week ended June 19 due to weak downstream product prices in the region.
However, due to firm energy market, average prices remained unchanged in the US.
In Europe, average prices contracted by US$ 20/ton or 1.44 per cent and were quoted at US$ 1370/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.
In the US, average prices stayed steady at 35 cents/pound in the last week as against its previous week.
