Sluggish demand drives down Asian PTA prices on July 6

Lower upstream product prices along with sluggish downstream demand drove down Asian PTA prices on Monday (July 6).
In FE Asia, prices were quoted at US$ 695/ton on Monday, lower by US$ 20/ton or 2.80 per cent as compared to prices at the end of last week.
In SE Asia, prices were assessed at US$ 715/ton, down by US$ 20/ton or 2.72 per cent as against prices seen towards end of the previous week.
In India, prices were spotted at US$ 725/ton on July 6, also lower by US$ 20/ton or 2.68 per cent from prices at end of last week.
