‘Resource the future – by less, but the best’ was the motto of the press conference of Bluesign Technologies which launched an innovative new resource tool Bluesign Bluexpert.

“It is the new milestone in the history of a resource efficient textile production that enables immediately to save 50 per cent water, 30 per cent energy and 15 per cent chemicals,” the Swiss company added.

Archroma, DyStar, Huntsman Textile Effects and CHT held various workshops to delve deeper in to Bluesign Bluexpert and show the high efficiency results.

Speeches from representatives from the chemical, textile and machinery industry underlined strong approaches that are already in place when it comes to a sustainable production.

“A scientific speech offered a closer look to the crossing limitations with advanced materials chemistry,” Bluesign observed.

The topic of sustainable means of production was also highlighted by finance experts who spoke on the role of sustainable financing.

David de Rothschild, founder of The Lost Explorer began the second day with a speech on ‘Giving Nature a Voice’.
