TN based Veena Textiles appoints women director

Veena Textiles, a unit of Tamil Nadu based Veena Group, has appointed a new women director.
In a filing to the BSE, the company said Pazhanisamy Selvamani has been appointed director of the company with effect from June 27, 2015.
Selvamani has been appointed in place of E Pushpa, who resigned as director on June 27.
Based in Namakkal town of Tamil Nadu, the company was incorporated in 1968 as a private limited, and later converted into public limited in 1986. The company went for public issue in 1992 followed by right issue in 1994. (RKS)
