MEG prices witness mixed trends in Asia last week

MEG prices witnessed mixed trends in Asia in the last week ended July 17.
Due to ample of product availability in the region, average prices were stable in SE Asia and were assessed at US$ 870/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.
In India, average prices were also steady and were offered at US$ 870/ton in the last week as against its previous week.
In China, due to strong market sentiments, average prices went up by US$ 5/ton and were spotted at US$ 860/ton in the last week, an increase of 0.58 per cent from its previous week.
