Hengli Petrochemical shuts 2 PTA plants for maintenance

Hengli Petrochemical, located on Changxing Island in China's Liaoning province, has shutdown two purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plants for maintenance turnaround.
“The No. 1 and No. 2 PTA plants were shut for maintenance turnaround on 6 August, 2015,” a company official told Fibre2Fashion.
“These plants are expected to remain shut for around two weeks time,” the official added.
Both No. 1 and No. 2 PTA plants have production capacity of 2.2 million tons/year each. (RKS)
